Failure. Nobody wants to bomb it. But. It happens. I think most parents get this and understand that it happens so we just move on. However, we treat our children like they are super stars and they can do no wrong! We want to protect them and tell them everything is ok! you are a winner! But is this a good approach to parenting? What is the impact then when they grow up and enter the office environment? Must the boss praise 8 times to every negative piece of feedback given? Hmm..
In this lesson, we discuss with the client about:
- Why failure is important
- What is the impact of helicopter parenting
- What can we do to change this situation
- Discuss the article – takeaways, agree/disagree, and etc.
